The Academy of Civil Society (ACtS) is a network of Consultants, Trainers, Facilitators, technical experts and HR development organisations operating under the auspices of LUNGOS, as a Capacity Building Commission. ACtS also behaves as a Civil Society Think Tank. It was formally established in 2008, in response to the needs of integrating local expertise in the EU sponsored Capacity Building Programme for state and Non-state Actors in Seychelles, under the 9th European Development Fund. Serving as the educational/academic arm of LUNGOS, its primary objectives is to design, oversee and implement capacity development programmes for NGOs.
 
Through its programmes, the Academy of Civil Society (ACtS) seeks to bring together success oriented people with experience, skills and the willingness to create and sustain a learning environment for Civil Society.The Academy ACtS offers a range of training opportunities in the fields of:

  • Information Technology
